Objective
Objective/purpose
The objective of the Erasmus Journal of Medicine is to publish scientific articles written by students attending the Medical Faculty of the Erasmus University. Medical research is an important part of the medical curriculum at the Erasmus University. Students are trained to become research-oriented doctors.
The aim of Erasmus Journal of Medicine is to promote the conduct of scientific research by medical students, by providing a timely and representative overview of the work that has been done by medical students. In this way we want to motivate starting medical students to think about, and become involved in research at an early stage of their career.
The journal will be published every 6 months and will be spread throughout the faculty and will be send to all chiefs and research group leaders in the Erasmus Medical centre. Also, there will be a digital-version of the journal which is published on this website.
