Introduction
Focus of the research program 'Radiation oncology, medical physics and imaging'
The research program ‘Radiation oncology, medical physics and imaging' has its main focus on technical development of external beam radiotherapy and brachytherapy. The investigations reach from development of algorithms for beam orientation optimization to evaluations of the Quality of Life for new treatment techniques. Image-guided therapy (IGRT) is essential to many of the projects. Details can be found in ‘Research Projects’ and ‘Publications’.
