Medication after kidney transplantation can be reduced
Cancer is the second leading cause of death among kidney transplant patients after cardiovascular diseases. A major reason for this complication is the immunosuppressant drugs given to patients. It now appears that the dosage of this drug could, under supervision, be safely halved for most of the patients.
