As a parent or carer you are welcome at any time, 24/7. Your presence is important for your child’s well-being and sense of safety.
To ensure that your child gets plenty of rest, the wards need to be calm and quiet from 12 a.m. to 2 p.m. and after 8 p.m. The curtains will be closed and you are requested to be as quiet as possible during these periods. No other visitors will be allowed to enter between 12 a.m. and 2 p.m. Rooming-in with the child after 8 p.m. is possible for one parent.
Visiting hours are from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
No more than two visitors are allowed to visit the child at one time; visitors can take turns visiting the child.
If you visit when the parents/carers are not present, you may only do so with their permission.
Children under the age of six, with the exception of siblings, are not allowed to visit patients. Exceptions to this rule are possible; please consult the nurse on duty.
Other rules apply to children visiting patients in intensive care and critical care units. Always consult the child’s parents/carers before visiting.
Do not visit a patient if you are ill or have been exposed to an infectious disease.
Partners are welcome at any time, 24/7. Rooming-in facilities are available; please ask the nursing staff. Siblings may join you as long as they stay with you. Other visitors are welcome from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
