The Erasmus Summer Programme (ESP) is an internationally renowned, three-week in-person training event held each August at Erasmus MC in the Netherlands. Designed to support students, researchers, and health professionals, the programme provides a unique opportunity to strengthen research skills and advance scientific careers through specialized education in quantitative medical and health research at Master’s and PhD level.
Delivered entirely in English, the programme features a diverse portfolio of around 20+ state-of-the-art courses covering a wide range of biomedical and healthcare topics, including clinical medicine, public health, epidemiology, genetics, and biostatistics. The courses are taught by world-renowned experts, many of whom hold joint appointments at leading universities and research institutes worldwide. Participants can choose from both introductory and advanced courses, offering maximum flexibility to create a personalized, à la carte training plan tailored to their individual interests and professional goals.
