Forgot to cancel your appointment?
If you need to cancel your appointment, you must do so at least 24 hours in advance. If you don’t cancel your appointment in time, you will be charged a no-show fee of €45.00 per outpatient appointment. This fee is set by the Dutch Healthcare Authority and is not covered by your health insurance policy.
Change your appointment in good time
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change your appointment. We can then schedule a new appointment for you right away and we can also offer your original appointment to another patient. This helps us to keep waiting lists as short as possible.
Making an objection
If you believe that you have been wrongly invoiced for a no-show charge, you can make a formal objection. The invoice will enclose an information sheet explaining the procedure for contesting an invoice. We will let you know as soon as possible whether we agree with you.
