We’re excited to announce the One Health Approaches to Study Climate-Sensitive Infectious Diseases Summer School, which will take place 17–28 August 2026 across two inspiring European hubs:

🌍 Why join?
Climate change and nature-based solutions are reshaping ecosystems—and with them, the dynamics of infectious diseases. This 2-week immersive summer school brings together early-career researchers, students and practitioners to explore One Health approaches at the intersection of climate change, vector-borne diseases and NbS.

• Field excursions and hands-on data collection
• Laboratory and infectious disease modelling workshops
• One Health case studies and diagnostics
• Stakeholder engagement, citizen science & science communication
• A collaborative, team-based capstone project
• Networking with experts from Erasmus MC, Heidelberg University and partners across Europe
👥 Who should apply?
Master’s and PhD students, and early-career professionals from health, veterinary, ecology, environmental sciences, data science, geography and related fields. 30 participants will be selected.
