About M.E.A. (Marjolein) Barendse, PhD
Introduction
My research aims to understand the neurobiological mechanisms behind the development of psychiatric disorders in youth. I examine this in familial high-risk cohorts and the general population.
Education and career
I have a PhD in neurodevelopment from the University of Melbourne and have previously done postdocs at the University of Oregon and UC Davis in the US.
