About drs. S.W.R. (Bas) Dalmeijer
Introduction
In 2020, I graduated from the University of Amsterdam Medical School. Following this, I worked as a resident not-in-training in the Surgery department at Amstelland Hospital in Amstelveen, the Oncological Surgery department at Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Hospital in Amsterdam, and the Otorhinolaryngology department at Tergooi MC Hospital in Hilversum.
After gaining experience in Surgery and Otorhinolaryngology, I became interested in furthering my career in research, particularly in optimizing cancer treatment. As a result, I began my journey as a PhD candidate in the Department of Head and Neck Surgery and Surgical Oncology in March 2024. My research focuses on the clinical application of fluorescence-guided surgery.
