About X.S. (Xu Shan) Gao, PhD student
Introduction
I am a PhD student in reproductive medicine. I focus on the role of the microbiome in IVF outcomes and conditions, such as Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). My current projects, including the ReceptIVFity test and the GuVa PCOS study, aim to enhance our understanding of how microbial health influences reproductive success. This will ultimately improve patient care and treatment strategies.
With a background in obstetrics and gynaecology, I have contributed to various clinical studies and published research that bridges the gap between laboratory findings and real-world applications. My goal is to translate scientific insights into practical solutions for women’s reproductive health.
