About T.G (Tom) Goos
Introduction
I have a background in Mechanical and BioMedical Engineering, and we work closely together with Delft University of Technology to bring technical innovations to the clinic. I am a member of the Board of Studies for Clinical Technology and Technical Medicine in the Delft University of Technology, and support in the teaching of the course Intensive Care and Computer Simulation for the bachelor Clinical Technology.
My own research concerns patient monitoring, mechanical ventilation and improving patient assessment. The topic can be as simple as combining measurements during the resuscitation of preterm infants with the aim to better achieve the targets, or to automate the oxygen supply in case of respiratory support.
