About K.R. (Kamil) Hiralal

Introduction

Hello! I am a PhD student at the department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry/Psychology. Before starting my PhD I got my Bachelor's (Psychology) and Master's (research master Cognitive Neuroscience) degrees at the University of Leiden. As a PhD student I am coordinating the UNIQUE study, which focusses on the genotype-phenotype relationship in people with rare genetic variants and autism spectrum disorders (ASD). I am very interested in how we can apply advanced statistical methods, such as machine learning, in order to improve person-centered health care for individuals with ASD.
