About Ir. L.J. (Lorraine) Lauwerends PhD
Introduction
I am an Industrial Design and Biomedical Engineer by training, and I have worked in industry (medical instruments for eye surgery) before starting my PhD at the department of Otorhinolaryngology at the Erasmus MC in 2019. My research centers around fluorescence-guided surgery for oral cancer.
