About Dr. M. (Marjolein) Lugtenberg
My research focuses on improving person-centred cancer care by providing patients with reliable, personalised information and support that matches their needs over time. This includes research on survivorship and psychosocial care, as well as the development and evaluation of digital and generative AI-supported interventions.
A key focus of my current research is how generative AI can further personalise cancer care, make information and support more accessible, and at the same time contribute to more sustainable cancer care.
