About R.L. (Ryan) Muetzel, Phd
Introduction
My research concerns the typical and atypical development of the brain, seen from a population neuroscience perspective; the intersection of advanced neuroimaging, child psychiatry, and epidemiology.
My group, the Integrative and Precision Neuroimaging group, focuses on several areas:
- Examining typical brain development using longitudinal MRI.
- Studying the bidirectional interplay between neurodevelopment and psychiatric problems and early life adversities.
- Applications of machine learning in population-based neuroimaging, particularly in emerging psychopathology.
- Development and application of population neuroscience techniques for advanced brain imaging analyses.
