About M. (Mark) Mulder MD, PhD
Introduction
I hold an MSc and PhD in human-machine systems engineering, with early contributions to Nissan’s pioneering driver-assist technology.
After a year of humanitarian work in Sierra Leone for Doctors without Borders, I transitioned into medicine, earning my MD in 2014. I combined careers in engineering and healthcare, with clinical roles in internal medicine and oncology, and research in health-technology.
Currently, I’m a medical oncologist at Erasmus MC Cancer Institute focused on breast cancer care. I integrate my technical background to develop user-friendly digital healthcare solutions, enhancing accessibility for patients and providers alike.
