Introduction
I graduated cum laude with a Master in Science Psychology at Leiden University. In 2013 I presented my dissertation at the Erasmus MC Rotterdam ‘Towards a better care for head & neck cancer patients and their partners' for which I obtained a four year funding of the Michel Keijzer Fund.

- In 2018 I was appointed as principal investigator for VBHC Head & Neck Oncology to stimulate patient centered care and share decision-making in the consultation room based on outcome data. I received funding for this work of the Zorginstituut Nederland.
