About Drs. H. (Hanneke) van Oorschot
Introduction
I am currently working as a PhD candidate in head and neck oncology. This is a project combined with the Dutch Head and Neck Audit (DHNA), a national quality registry for head and neck oncologic care in the Netherlands. It’s main goal is to monitor and register current quality of care. Quality indicators have been established from the perspectives of the medical specialist, paramedics and the patient. As medical coordinator of the DHNA I will be working on improving the current registration.
Education and career
I obtained my medical degree in 2021 at Utrecht University. Thereafter, I have worked at the department of surgery at Tergooi Ziekenhuis (Hilversum/Blaricum). In 2022 I started my PhD-research in head and neck oncology. This is a project combined with the Dutch Head and Neck Audit, a national quality registry for head and neck oncologic care in the Netherlands.
