About Dr. A.D.A. (Dion) Paridaens PhD
Introduction
My ambition is to further explore the pathophysiology/genetics/clinical presentation/therapy of various orbital and (peri)ocular conditions. If only few questions of many can be answered I feel it would be worthwhile.
Education and career
In 1993 I completed a thesis on clinicopathological aspects of ocular melanoma, but since then I have investigated various research topics relating to oncology, oculoplastics and orbital conditions such as orbital inflammatory diseases.
I have worked in the UMCU, Utrecht, Moorfields Eye Hospital/Institute of Ophthalmology/The Royal Marsden Cancer Institute/The Rotterdam Eye Hospital/Vancouver General Hospital/Geneva University Hospital/Erasmus Medical Center.
