Education and career
Maaike R. Schagen studied Medicine at the University of Groningen. In 2019 she obtained her medical degree and worked for a year in the Intensive Care Unit of the University Medical Center Groningen. In 2020 she worked for a year in the Internal Medicine, Haematology and Gastroenterology Department of Hagaziekenhuis in Den Haag.
Since October 2021 she started her current position as PhD-candidate.
