Introduction

In March 2026, I joined the Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery as a PhD candidate. After receiving my MD degree from Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2025, I worked as a resident in the Department of Surgery at Ikazia Hospital in Rotterdam. In 2026, I started my PhD at Erasmus MC. My research focuses on hearing health in the Generation R study population, including the (prevention of) noise-induced hearing loss.
