About L.E. (Lotte) Vlug
Introduction

Giving children with intestinal failure a life as normal as possible is the ultimate goal of my research project. With the research group we focus on predicting and influencing both medical and psychological outcomes for children with intestinal failure (who's bowels cannot absorb enough nutrients and fluids to grow adequately, and who are therefore dependent on intravenous feeding (through the blood).
