About

Introduction

As senior consultant of the pediatric endocrinology team and as division head, I am responsible – together with my team – for the care of children and adolescents with complex and/or rare endocrine diseases. As co-founder of the obesity clinic CGG (Centrum Gezond Gewicht academic center of excellence), my main research focus is on diagnostics and treatment of children with obesity, aiming for innovation of diagnostic tools and for development of personalized value based treatment.

Teaching activities

My teaching experience encompasses lecturing and developing teaching programs at all levels, from Medical Bachelor students, Medical Master students, PhD students, Nurses, Residents, Consultants to Medical specialists.
