About
Introduction
As a medical doctor I worked at the department of Paediatrics in the Albert Schweitzer Hospital in Dordrecht and the Erasmus MC Sophia Children’s Hospital in Rotterdam. Currently, I am doing my PhD at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Sophia Children’s Hospital. My research focusses on protecting (unborn) children from exposure alcohol and tobacco smoke, using legislative measures (e.g. smoke-free zones) and personal interventions to support smoking and alcohol cessation.
