About F. (Féline) Hoedeman
Introduction
Since 2020 I am a PhD student at the department of General Pediatrics in the Erasmus MC Sophia Children's Hospital. The main subject of my research projects is child maltreatment. More specifically, I focus on the (early) recognition of child maltreatment at emergency departments in the Netherlands and other European countries. Additionally, I concentrate on (the follow-up of) child sexual abuse.
Education and career
I started my bachelor in Medicine in 2014 at Erasmus MC. In 2018 I obtained my bachelor's degree and in 2019 I started the Master in Medicine program at Erasmus MC, which I will complete in the beginning of 2023. Following my master's research project in 2019, I started my PhD research during my internships.
