About Dr. H.S. (Henriëtte) de Bruijn
Introduction
My ambition is to design and perform experiments in such a way that they lead to the most reliable answers. It is very rewarding to be able to bring a study to an end in the form of a presentation or a publication.
Education and career
I finished my Bachelor of Science in Medical Biology in 1992. Started working as a Lab Technician investigating the origin of (non-) seminoma carcinomas and since 1993 involved in various projects investigating photodynamic therapy and ways to optimize the treatment. Defended my PhD in June 2008 on Light fractionated ALA-PDT. Since then involved in research developing targeted photosensitizers using antibodies and nanobodies.
