Introduction

Marie-Rose Crombag currently works at the Clinical Pharmacy department of the Erasmus MC. As a Hospital Pharmacist she is involved in Gastro-Enterology and Hepatology, the Phase I research unit, and the Laboratory of the Clinical Pharmacy.

Education and career

Marie-Rose studied Pharmacy at Utrecht University in the Netherlands. During her Master’s program she performed a research project at the Center for Drug Development Science in Washington D.C., USA. She started her residency in Hospital Pharmacy at the Netherlands Cancer Institute (NKI) in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. This was followed by a training in Clinical Pharmacology and PhD research at the NKI. Her PhD involved a multi-center research regarding Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics in Geriatric Oncology, which she successfully defended at Utrecht University in 2019. Her expertise and research interest are in the area of Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacokinetic-Pharmacodynamic modelling and simulation, individualized dosing in special populations in medical oncology and GE, and gerontopharmacology.
