About
Introduction
My combined position as a neuropsychologist and researcher has resulted in a passion for clinical research with clear potential benefits for my patients. I am particularly interested in improving the diagnostic and care trajectories of patients from diverse cultural, educational and linguistic backgrounds, such as immigrants and patients with low literacy skills. I try to improve diagnostic tools, especially those used to assess dementia, and provide treatment based on positive psychology by means of solution-focused (brief) therapy. Lastly, I am involved in patient education projects tailored to diverse populations.
Education and career
After receiving my Master's degree in Neuropsychology, I have started my career as a neuropsychologist in 2015. In subsequent years, I received professional training as a solution-focused (brief) therapist. Currently, I am combining my clinical work with writing my PhD thesis.
