S. (Sukanya) Gayan, PhD

I have completed my PhD in 2023 in cancer biology where my research focus was to understand the behavior of a tumor spheroid under different external stress conditions like nutritional, mechanical and pharmaceutical stress. In 2025, I started as a postdoctoral researcher under the group of Roberto Narcisi and Prof. Gerjo van Osch in the OAinject project. Here I am involved in understanding the role of inflammation in Osteoarthritis which, will be validated on a Joint-on-a- Chip model.
