About B.A.M. (Berthe) van der Geest
Introduction
I am a PhD student at the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatology and at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. My research focusses on the prevention and treatment of neonatal hyperbilirubinemia in primary care. I studied at the Medical school of Utrecht University. After graduation as a medical doctor in 2015, I started working as a resident-not-in-training in the Pediatrics and Neonatology Department at Diakonessenhuis Utrecht. In March 2017, I was employed as a PhD student at Erasmus MC Rotterdam.
