In 2000 Frank Huygen asked me to join his team at the Center for Pain Medicine as physiotherapist. Four years later, at the start of TREND, I got the opportunity to start my own research project, which ended in 2009 with the thesis 'Cold Case; Cascular dysregulation in the chronic Complex Regional Pain Syndrome'.

As research coordinator it is my job to support the researchers and facilitate new research.

Furthermore I am responsible for contract research at the Center for Pain Medicine.
