Introduction
Marleen van den Heuvel is a PhD student in the field of musculoskeletal disorders in children.
She obtained her medical degree in 2017 at the University of Utrecht.
In the final year of her study she did her senior internship in General Practice and a research project at the Radiology department of the UMC Utrecht.
Her current research focuses on between structural spinal abnormalities on MRI in children and their association with weight status and physical activity.
