About

Introduction

In April 2023, I joined the Rheumatology Department of Erasmus MC as a scientific researcher. My research focuses on identifying clinically relevant factors for prediction of psoriatic arithritis specific inflammation and the applicability of digital biomarkers in detecting and monitoring the disease activity. These will provide input for the creation of AI models for  risk prediction, diagnosis and prognosis of psoritiac arithritis.

Field(s) of expertise

Nutrition and dietetics, Epidemiology

Education and career

I obtained a Bachelor Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics with a master in clinical and public health nutrition and a second master in cardiovascular pharmacology from the Lebanese University. I pursued my PhD at the Erasmus MC where I researched on the role of nutrition in reproduction and pregnancy with implications for eHealth lifestyle coaching.
