About B.H. (Batoul) Hojeij, PhD

Introduction

In April 2023, I joined the Rheumatology Department of Erasmus MC as a scientific researcher. My research focuses on lifestyle and digital phenotyping in psoriatic arthritis. I am also interested in identifying factors that can influence psoriatic arthritis disease activity.

Education and career

I obtained a Bachelor Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics with a master in clinical and public health nutrition and a second master in cardiovascular pharmacology from the Lebanese University. I pursued my PhD at the Erasmus MC, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, where I researched on the effects of periconceptional nutrition and digital lifestyle coaching on reproductive health.
