Introduction

I am a professor at the Departments of Neurology & Epidemiology, Erasmus MC Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
I am a principal investigator, leading the neuroepidemiologic component of the Rotterdam Study and combine my research activities with clinical work as a vascular neurologist.
