Jos started his PhD in November 2015, in cooperation with the department of General Practice at the ErasmusMC and the research centre Innovations in Care of the Rotterdam University of applied sciences. The primary objective of his PhD project is to measure and monitor the most important determinants of exit through physical workload of student nurses during their education / internship and as starting nurses in the first year of their career, in order to deploy specific preventive interventions and to emphasize a healthy working method in the nursing education, rather than to abolish unhealthy work behavior. Furthermore the effects of these interventions will be studied in this project.
