About N.L.U. (Nico) van Meeteren
As professor of Perioperative Health at Erasmus Medical Center, Van Meeteren his main research projects focus on innovation and validation, (de-)implementation, monitoring and evaluation of scientifically substantiated health interventions, one of the main areas being prevention and solving physical, mental and social functioning problems during Major Life Events (bereavement, falls, hospitalizations, etc.) in fragile (elderly) people and those that are chronically ill and handicapped.
