About A.G. (Anusca) Rader
Anusca G. Rader is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Viroscience (Erasmus MC). During her PhD she studied three major human viruses: SARS-CoV-2, Dengue virus, and HIV-1. Using primary human immune cells and advanced human intestinal organoid models, she studied how these viruses interact with autophagy and intracellular trafficking at mucosal surfaces.
Her current postdoctoral research in the HerpeslabNL focuses on identifying conserved features of alphaherpesvirus latency-associated transcripts (LATs) and elucidating their common and unique functions during both productive and latent infection.
