About K. (Kiki) Streng, PhD
Introduction
Kiki is a veterinarian and post-doc researcher at the Public Health Virology group at Erasmus MC. She studies mosquito-borne viruses, and how their circulation is affected by climate (adaptation measures). Specifically, she is working on one of the Frontrunner projects of the Pandemic Disaster & Preparedness Center (PDPC). This project aims to assess the effect of inundation as flood prevention on the circulation of mosquito-borne viruses.
Besides her work as a researcher, she is working parttime as a small animal veterinarian.
