The aim of this study is to develop and optimize a Minimal Intervention Strategy (MIS) in general practice for the detection and treatment of overweight in children, which can be applied especially in deprived areas where obesity is a greater problem. Additionally, a regional map will be compiled with available lifestyle interventions in Rotterdam to which children can be referred and the implementation of the MIS in four large general practices in Rotterdam will be evaluated.
