Introduction

Roel Wingbermühle is a Phd student in the field of neck pain prognosis. He finished his Bachelor program in Physiotherapy in 1984 at the Academie voor Fysiotherapie, Rotterdam and his Manual Therapy program in 1990 at SOMT, Eindhoven. He finished his Master of Science degree in Manual Therapy at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 2010. He conducts his primary care clinical work from 1985 until now at Fysiotherapie MSC Wingbermühle & Bol, Krimpen aan den IJssel and educational work from 1992 until now at SOMT University of Physiotherapy, Amersfoort.

His research focuses on prognostic models in patients with neck pain in physiotherapy practice.

Prognostic models in patients with neck pain in physiotherapy practice. The publications of an external validation study on prognostic models for neck pain recovery in primary care, and a development study with internal validation of prognostic models for neck pain recovery in physiotherapy, are to be expected in 2021.
