About
Introduction
Dawei Xu is a Phd student in the field of Osteoarthritis disease. He is also doing Clinical epidemiology master program in NIHES.
From 2015 to 2018, he finished his Master of Science program in Sun Yat-sen University (Guangzhou, China). He was doing research on mechanism of rheumatoid arthritis disease and ischemic reperfusion injury in shock. During the years he was working as a researcher at Guangzhou Medical school and Weil critical care medicine institute ( Guangzhou branch ).
Also, he was working as a surgery resident at Sun Yat-sen memorial Hospital and received his Master degree of surgery in 2018.
He finished his Bachelor degree of Medicine at University of South China for 5 years including 1 year residency rotation at Sencond Xiangya hospital from Central South University.
Field(s) of expertise
His current research focuses on the meniscus pathology and the development of OA in overweight/obese women. The results are expected to be presented from May 2020.
