A. (Anas) Zouitni

I am a PhD candidate focusing on the diagnosis of orthopedic implant-associated infections, including Periprosthetic Joint Infection (PJI), Fracture-Related Infection (FRI), and Spinal Implant Infection (SII). My research focuses on evaluating the added diagnostic value of sonication fluid cultures (SFC) in the detection and characterization of these challenging implant-related infections. Through my research, I aim to improve diagnostic strategies and contribute to more accurate management of patients with orthopedic implant infections.
