About K.R. (Kamil) Hiralal, PhD Student
Introduction
As a PhD student I am coordinating the UNIQUE study, which focusses on the genotype-phenotype relationship in people with rare genetic variants and autism. My work focusses on the behavioral characteristics of autism by using data scientific methods and by analyzing data from genetic disorders with an increased chance on autism.
I am interested in how we can use data scientific methods and combine these with psychophysiological techniques to better understand psychopathology. Next, I am co-leader of the Responsible, Interpretable, Open, & Transparent (RIOT) Science Club Rotterdam, promoting Open Science practices within our institution.
