'What do I want to do after my bachelor's? Does a research master degree suit me? Do I choose a clinical or an interdisciplinary study?' Choosing your masters degree is an important decision. One you have to make carefully. At Erasmus MC we offer 5 different research masters. This article helps you make the right decision.

Our research masters in Health Sciences, Genomics in Society, Infection & Immunity, Molecular Medicine and Neuroscience offer in-depth high-level scientific training in (bio)medical research fields ranging from fundamental research to general health care. The programs are highly regarded, officially accredited and internationally renowned research masters - awarded an internationally recognized Master of Science (MSc) degree.

A lot of information about our research masters can be found on the Erasmus University website. Here you can read practical information, for example about the contents of the programs, application procedures, starting dates and future perspectives.

In addition, you can also watch an informational video of each research master's program. In the videos, the program director of each program explains more about the program and about what you can expect. Topics discussed in the videos include the purpose of the masters, what type of teaching materials you can expect, whether you will need to do an internship, what majors you can choose, and more.
