Introduction

Sabine Fonderson is a medical doctor and has worked in the United Kingdom for the National Health Services (NHS) at the department of Accidents and Emergency (A&E). With an interest in acute diseases affecting children, Sabine successfully completed her Master’s in Paediatric Emergency Medicine at the University of Edinburgh.

She is currently doing a PhD which focuses on the reasons why children consult their primary care physicians.

More specifically, Sabine will investigate whether factors such as air pollution and socio-economic status play a role in causing health-disparities amongst children living in the region of Rotterdam.
