About M.N. (Marisha) Meijer, PhD Student
Introduction
I am a PhD student at the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry/Psychology department, focusing on the BRAVE project, which aims to identify predictors of the clinical course of anorexia nervosa [BRAVE - Erasmus MC]. My research interests lie in understanding the psychological factors that influence the development and course of eating disorders in young people.
I obtained my Master’s degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology from Leiden University. My interest in research was sparked during my studies, leading me I work as a research assistant, which has contributed greatly to my professional development and ongoing commitment to advancing mental health research.
