Introduction
As an infectious diseases specialist my focus is both on patients who return travelling from tropical areas and on patients living with HIV.
I received my medical training in Amsterdam (both the VUMC and the AMC), and further specialized in tropical medicine in the Harbour hospital in Rotterdam. My goal is to improve care for patient groups with infectious diseases that demand specific expertise and knowledge.
Our department collaborates with the department of Virology and the department of Dermatology, within the center of excellence for Migratory Health and Neglected tropical diseases.
