Introduction
Jikkie van Veen is a scientific researcher in the field of research of education in emergency care. In 2018 she obtained her Master's degree of Arts at the University of Groningen (Netherlands) in ‘communication science’ in which she worked on data of doctor-patient consultations. In 2021 she obtained the research master ‘language and cognition’, also in Groningen. In this two-year master, she worked on research of simulated surgery and trauma surgery.
Her current research focuses on simulation education of general practitioners in emergency care. The first results are expected in September 2022.
