Introduction

Yahong Wu is a PhD candidate at the Epidemiology department of Erasmus MC. His research projects focuses on the role of lifestyle, gut microbiome and inflammation in the development of musculoskeletal diseases, especially in osteoarthritis. Most of his research is embedded in the Rotterdam Study cohorts.
Yahong holds a BA in Clinical Medicine (Chongqing medical university, China) and a MA in Surgery(Chongqing medical university, China). He worked as an orthopedics surgeon before coming to Rotterdam. Yahong’s PhD research was supported by the China Scholarship Council (CSC) .
