About

Introduction

My name is Femke van Erp Taalman Kip. Since February this year I work part-time as a consultant at the Sophia children’s hospital. I’m specialized in pediatric foot problems, but I do treat all different kind of conditions in general pediatric orthopaedic surgery. My current focus is on clinical work.

Education and career

In 2009 I completed my orthopaedic training (University Medical Center Utrecht, Onze Lieve Vrouwe Gasthuis, Amsterdam), which was followed by a fellowship in pediatric orthopaedic surgery in the UMCU, location Wilhelmina Children’s Hospital. Since 2010 I’ve been working as a consultant at the Haga Hospital, The Hague, specialized in pediatric orthopaedics and foot and ankle surgery in adults. I decided to change my practice after ten years to focus myself entirely on children. My practice is divided between Juliana and Sophia children’s hospital.
